Orthopedic Virginia Internal Job #: OVirginia Date Posted: 2011-04-05 12:56:40 Job description: Job Description Consider this exciting opportunity to build an Orthopaedic practice in an area that offers a great quality of life. Be fairly reimbursed for your practice and have an excellent balance between work and the rest of life. Excellent reimbursement mix made up largely of Blue Cross, Commercial and Medicare. Practice in only one hospital with virtually no trauma. Strong referral system with a defined need. The hospital has 100 beds, 6-bed ICU, 3 large operating rooms and 1 minor procedure room, in-house MRI and 16 slice CT, MD & CRNA anesthesia. Expect no more than ten days of ER unassigned call coverage per month.(1:3) This is a hospital employed position. Recruitment incentive package includes attractive income support, practice start up assistance, sign on bonus, student loan repayment, stipend for last year residents, and marketing. Area does not qualify for J-1 candidates. No H1B positions. Board certification required through the AOA or the American Board of Medical Specialties (unless residency has just been completed).
